RAM-LA

The Free Clinic event at the LA Sports Arena April 27-May 3, 2010 was a great success.  Dr. Nevins served as the Medical Director for the event, and ADWH served as the fiscal sponsor.  Over 6,600 patients were seen in seven days, providing medical, dental and vision care.  It was a team effort between ADWH and local healthcare practitioners from many organizations including The Tzu Chi Foundation, LA Dental Society, LA Dental Hygienists' Society, LA Public Health Dept., Providence Healthcare, Planned Parenthood of LA, the LA Podiatric Association, Lion's Club, VOSH, Giving Children Hope and Direct Relief International.  These efforts demonstrate the power of collaboration to care for those in need.

We hope to once again come together for the next event in Los Angeles in the Spring of 2011.
